Hobbs NM Child Support and Social Service Office enhances the well being of children by locating noncustodial parents, establish paternity, establish and enforce support orders, modify orders when appropriate, collect and distribute child support payments, and refer parents to other social service programs. These programs promote parent accountability, self sufficiency and reduce the public’s responsibility for providing financial and medical support to children.

If you are having trouble regaining custody of your daughter, it is recommended that you seek legal assistance as soon as possible. You may want to consider speaking with a family law attorney who can advise you on your rights and options, and help you navigate the legal process to regain custody of your daughter.
Additionally, if the father of your daughter has your daughter’s important documents and is refusing to return them, you may need to take legal action to retrieve them. An attorney can help you with this process as well.
It is important to note that the best interests of the child are always the top priority in custody cases, and a court will make a decision based on what is in the best interests of the child. If you believe that your daughter is in immediate danger, you should also contact local law enforcement for assistance.
