Centre AL Child Support and Social Service Office enhances the well being of children by locating noncustodial parents, establish paternity, establish and enforce support orders, modify orders when appropriate, collect and distribute child support payments, and refer parents to other social service programs. These programs promote parent accountability, self sufficiency and reduce the public’s responsibility for providing financial and medical support to children.

I understand that waiting for child support can be frustrating and challenging.
If you have applied for child support and have not received it yet, there are some steps you can take to follow up on your case and try to expedite the process:
Contact your local child support agency: You can contact the local child support agency where you filed your case to check the status of your application and ask for an update on the progress. They may be able to give you an estimated time frame for when you can expect to receive child support.
Seek legal help: If you are facing difficulties receiving child support, you may want to consider seeking legal assistance. An attorney who specializes in family law can help you understand your legal rights, and provide you with guidance on how to proceed with your case.
File a complaint: If you have been waiting for a long time and have not received child support, you can file a complaint with your state’s child support agency. They may be able to investigate the matter and help speed up the process.
Consider other sources of support: While waiting for child support, you may want to explore other sources of financial support, such as government assistance programs, community organizations, or family and friends.
I hope these suggestions are helpful in resolving your child support issue. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
