Bethe AK Child Support and Social Service Office enhances the well being of children by locating noncustodial parents, establish paternity, establish and enforce support orders, modify orders when appropriate, collect and distribute child support payments, and refer parents to other social service programs. These programs promote parent accountability, self sufficiency and reduce the public’s responsibility for providing financial and medical support to children.

To apply for child support services in Alaska, you will need to complete an application form and submit it to the Alaska Child Support Services Division (CSSD). You can obtain an application form by visiting the CSSD website at http://www.cssd.state.ak.us/ or by contacting the CSSD directly at (907) 269-6900.
In order to complete the application form, you will need to provide information about yourself and your child, as well as about the other parent, if known. You will also need to provide documentation such as birth certificates, social security numbers, and any court orders related to custody or support.
Once you have completed the application form and gathered all necessary documentation, you can submit the materials to the CSSD by mail, fax, or in person at a local CSSD office.
The CSSD will review your application and may ask you for additional information or documentation if necessary. They will then determine if you are eligible for child support services and will work with you to establish a child support order, if appropriate.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to ask.
