Nebraska City NE Child Support and Social Service Office

Nebraska City NE Child Support and Social Service Office enhances the well being of children by locating noncustodial parents, establish paternity, establish and enforce support orders, modify orders when appropriate, collect and distribute child support payments, and refer parents to other social service programs.  These programs promote parent accountability, self sufficiency and reduce the public’s responsibility for providing financial and medical support to children.

  1. If you experiencing a financial hardship due illness you need to ask for a child support hearing so that you can explain your current medical situation and loss of income and request to have your child support obligation reduced or cancelled. Seeing that you both are requesting a cancellation you can arrange a modification between the two of you. Seeing have can come to an agreement to cancel, you can both put it in writing and ask a judge to approve the change.
