Your Experience: Well no one seems to know what is going on. I have a case where the paying parent owes about $40,000.00, and the court is not doing anything. The court ordered him to pay $1.00 for back pay and still nothing. Every time we have a court date, he doesn’t show and then he has a bogus doctor excuse. They put a writ out for his arrest and then for some reason it was not enforced. He was ordered to carry health insurance and has never paid for that. It just amazes me how the state would rather let me just collect food stamps and anything else rather than make him pay or at least arrest him and make him work in a work release program or something. Is there anything that you can do with this?
