Your Experience: On November 4, 2014, my husband went to store for cigarettes and ended up abandoning me pregnant on my mother’s doorstep. He left me destitute. I was forced to sign temporary custody over to my in-laws, who are also disgusted with his behavior. It has been over a year now since he abandoned his pregnant wife, and in Georgia, that is a felony. Despite this, his is not claiming his third child, which is undoubtedly his. I would like a court ordered paternity test, and when my husband comes back as the father, which he will, I want him to pay me child support. He did not once call while I was pregnant to see how I was because he was committing adultery, and he was not there the day his third child was born. He has only come once to see the child, and he almost cried when he saw him. My husband knows the child is his, and he will not provide any financial support whatsoever. I want him to pay me child support.
