My experience at Martinsburg WV Child Support office – Martin

Your Name (Can be Anonymous): Martin Mooney

Your Experience: My experience has been horrible, I have recently retired from the Marine Corps, in which i began to notify the Child Support Agency that I was retiring 9 Months in advance. I also notified that I was going to be staying in Japan after my retirement. I was told that my child support would continue to come out of my retirement after the transition, which was true, however it took 2 months for DFAS to reprocess the garnishment (during that time I was unemployed), so now I have to pay interest on something that i had no control over. On top of that, DFAS is not taking out less money then before, once again I have no control over that, it was a court ordered garnishment, so my new job is also taking the full amount of child support and I am paying double currently. Also because of the past due 2 months, the IRS was with holding from an amended tax return the past due amount. Why am I being triple hit for something I had no control over. my case number is 510147, best contact for me is s****************y@gmail.com
