Your Experience: I have been calling the 1-800-622-5437 number since September 6th it is now the 17th and you CAN NOT get a live person. I start at 755 am and by the time it hits 8am, it just tells you they system is busy and try your call again. I am disabled and it’s easier to call when you have zero gas and unable to get money the IRS wired to them. They are not documenting the receipt of that wired amount either. I’ve verified with the IRS and they have had the money at the offset coordinator, office of child support enforcement at 420 N Wickham Rd. Suite A. It’s not even documented by the court that it was intercepted or received. This is crazy, this is supposed to help my children. Not just be lost in limbo till someone decides to put it on the books. Hmm I wonder what’s happening to it while it’s not documented. Maybe I should ask then that too.
