My experience at Melbourne FL Child Support office – Liz

Your Experience: For 8 YEARS,I have attempted to contact/reach a rep from the Florida Dept of Revenue- 800-622-5437.  Any time of day the phone is ALWAYS busy or CALL BACK later message received.  The Florida Disbursement Unit has DIFFERENT information than the Florida Dept of Revenue.  For 4 months I have been trying to resolve an issue that the Florida DOR created. I have visited the MELBOURNE Child Support office on 5 occasions.  For 4 months I have received the RUN AROUND (STORIES). EVERY time that I contact the DISBURSEMENT UNIT they STATE that they CANNOT answer my questions OR provide any support. THEY instruct  me to contact the FLORIDA DEPT of Revenue, and guess what- EVERY time I call the DOR they give me a DIFFERENT “STORY” and instruct me to call the DISBURSEMENT UNIT OR THE CLERK OF COURT.  THE “PROBLEM” lies with the BREVARD COUNTY CHILD SUPPORT OFFICE LOCATED at 420-A Wickham Rd., Melbourne FL. ON EVERY occasion that I call (Hundreds of calls), I receive a DIFFERENT reply/answer.  THE FLORIDA DEPT OF REVENUE NEEDS TO HIRE QUALIFIED PERSONNEL, Who are able to calculate SIMPLE MATH and get their ‘STORIES” straight. I have sent certified letters to DOR in Tallahassee, DdisbursementUnit in Tallahasse and to the Governor’s office.  GOVERNOR RICK SCOTT NEEDS TO REVAMP THE ENTIRE FLORIDA CHILD SUPPORT SYSTEM. WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO CALL CENTERS THAT NEVER
ANSWER THE 800 “HELP” line-  Florida has the most despicable
GOVERNMENT AGENCY services!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
