Tell Us Your Experience At Your Local Child Support Office

I was sent a packet to fill out back in February, 2017. I filled it out, returned it to the office, hand-delivery. While in the office, I was told that the reason I was sent the packet to fill out was because you had “found” my ex-husband. You guys were going to send him a packet to fill out and that he would have to return it within thirty (30) days. If he had not returned it within thirty (30) days then the appropriate steps would be taken to pursue an indictment.

I came back to your office about 6 weeks later only for you guys to tell me you had lost the previous packet I had filled out. I once again filled out another packet.

He hasn’t paid child support since the first temporary order was entered back in 2006 or 2007. He hasn’t paid child support since the divorce was final in 2010. You guys said that you would send a letter informing me of the status, here it is September, 2017 and no updates. I understand the work load you guys have as I to am a state employee. For us to have been with you guys since about 2010 with NOTHING done is not acceptable. We have been pushed to the waste side. Extremely frustrating.
