Tell Us Your Experience At Your Local Child Support Office

I moved to NC in 2016, the non-custodial parent lives in FL. He hasn’t paid $0.01 of the child support ordered since 2014. FL kept closing my case due to “lack of movement”…aka they wanted a closed case so they could get more federal funding and didn’t want to enforce my case. I’ve been fighting NC since I got here to open a case and enforce it. It’s been 2 YEARS and we finally got Polk County, FL to acknowledge that they received paperwork from Wilkes County, NC. Now I’m being told it’ll be another 30+ days before it’s enforced.
What am I doing wrong? If it’s not their own family, no one cares in these offices.
