MY child support case in PA has been closed, but somehow NM didn’t get that memo!!

Q) MY child support case was transferred here from Pennsylvania. The case in PA has been closed for months and months, but somehow NM didn’t get that memo!! Now my job is trying to take more money from my checks bc NM is telling them they have to! My job is requiring paperwork from NM stating case is closed, even though they got the paperwork from PA showing the case as closed!! All the money NM previously took from my checks and sent to PA, PA sent me ALL of that money back!! Now here we are months later, and NM still isn’t with the program! You can’t call and speak with a person because hold times are greater than 1 hour. Who has that kind of time??? I am so aggravated with NM child support division! PA CLOSED THE CASE = THERE IS NO CASE!!!

A) I understand that you are frustrated with the child support division in NM not acknowledging that your case has been closed in PA. It is important to get this issue resolved as soon as possible, as it is impacting your paycheck and causing you financial stress.
