don’t understand .. person paying child support doesn’t meet the 20% increase

I don’t understand how the person paying child support doesn’t meet the 20% increase when they are making 20,000.00 more then he was over 6 years ago and I am no longer working. How is his daughter supposed to get anything she needs with 187.23 a month and has been like this for over 6 years making 3000.00 to 4000.00 a month and he can’t afford to pay more then 187.23 a month I know people that are making 1500 a month and have to pay 800 or 900 for one child. My poor kid is getting screwed and when she asks for him to get her anything he never has the money and he lives with his parents and doesn’t have to pay for a damn thing. I don’t understand so here is soon to be 16 year old daughter will be having a birthday on the 21st of this month and she can’t have a party because we are broke and he can’t afford to help because “he pays to much in child support” I need help please. Anyone have any suggestions.

  1. Kern county child support sucks ass! I lived in Sacramento county and they took care of business but here they give me the run around and lame excuses. He is $64000 behind, put $8000 of dental work into his mouth, gone on $250 deep sea fishing trips, kayaking in the channel islands and has a 401k and they wont touch him.He cries that he is one of the 33 million who is “going through it” w the pandemic.. if thats “going through it” then I want to go through that!! Now Im writing my local officials. This has ran its course.
